Meet Darwin and Lucy (Darwin top and bottom right, Lucy left and bottom left). These two crazy pups are the loves of my life. Both are rescues; Darwin was from Animal Control and Lucy from the Humane Society. They are both German Shepherd mixes, although Darwin clearly more German Shepherd than Lucy.

Darwin is so smart and learns so quickly. He is SUPER friendly, loves others dogs, but mostly people. His favorites are my step-son, my father-in-law, and my fiance’s best friend. Darwin’s super protective of my step-son. Even if someone hugs him he gets very nervous and whiny. But, he’s my big baby sleeping at my feet everyday while I work at my computer.

Lucy is the spunky one. On the surface she seems so sweet and docile, but she can be pretty feisty. She’s the younger one, but is constantly picking on her big “brother” trying to get him to wrestle with her or to chase her. She even resorts to barking and jumping up in the air while spinning her whole body around 360 degrees. It’s hilarious. I’ll have to try and get it on video.

Anyway – I could talk about these two for hours and hours – the same way a parent could talk about their children. I love their very different personalities, their slobbery kisses and all their quirks, even when they are driving me crazy. I love their noses, whiskers, floppy ears, paws, curly tails, and to watch them run in full out euphoric glee. I love everything about them!

And, I’m sure you can relate, which is why you’re here! And I’m glad you are. You understand what it means to love your dog. They’re like your children; as part of the family as any human – therefore deserving their rightful place on your walls, or in your albums. Heck, they may even deserve their own album! And that is what I want to do for you. With my camera, I want to capture the unique personality and spirit of your dog so that you will have the memories of him or her to enjoy forever.

So what are you waiting for? Send me an email or give me call and tell me about your pup.
